How to order a custom mattress in 4 easy steps

Before ordering your mattress, ask yourself these 4 questions. These will help you to find and order the mattress you need on our website. You can order your mattress below.
1 What is the mattress for?
- Moses Basket or Carry cot - any size up to 89 x 40 x 4cm
- Pram or Crib - any size up to 93 x 45 x 7cm
- Travel Cot - any size up to 105 x 70 x 10cm
- Cot - any size up to 128 x 67 x 10cm
- Cot Bed - any size up to 142 x 72 x 12.5cm
- Junior Bed or Small Bed any size up to 200 x 90 x 15cm
2 What Shape do you need?
Smaller mattresses like pram, crib and moses basket mattresses can be different shapes, you will need to tell us what shape it is. Larger mattresses like cot mattresses tend to be a standard square corner shape however some can be bowended.

If your mattress is an unusual shape you can send us a paper template and we will make the exact size for you. You can make your template from newspaper or wrapping paper and send it to us. Please make sure your name, address and telephone number is on the template, and we will call you when we have received it.
3 What size do you need?
Length x Width x Depth cm/inches
All our mattresses are custom made, so if you cannot find your mattress size on our website or if it’s an unusual size, you can tell us the size you need. You will need to measure the full inside length and width of your Cot, Carry Cot, Crib, Moses Basket etc.
We also recommend that you double check your mattress size before ordering, even if it appears to be a standard size or shape. If you order online, you can type the measurements into the “special instructions box”.
Some mattresses have a standard depth, for instance pram, crib and moses basket mattresses will usually be made 4cm deep, whereas cot mattresses will be made 10cm deep. You can choose a different depth for your mattress, but if you are unsure you can call our advisors for help.
4 What type of mattress would you like?
This is the most difficult part of ordering your mattress – especially if you are a first time parent or grandparent! There is no right or wrong choice, just what you feel is comfortable for your little one.
Choose your mattress inner
All our mattresses are suitable from birth onward, and none of our mattresses contain any dangerous chemicals.
What type you choose is ultimately personal preference. For example: if you are expecting to use the mattress for a short period of time you may choose to have a hypo-allergenic foam inner – as these mattresses have a short life span of 2-3 years, or if you wanted a natural fibre mattress you could choose a Coir & Wool inner.
For toddlers and older children we would recommend a mattress with springs, as they are longer lasting and provide a good support for growing children.

Choose your mattress cover
We have many different mattress covers for you to choose from, and again what you choose is personal preference. All our covers are breathable, removable and machine washable, apart from the PVC which is waterproof and wipe down only.
- For extra waterproof protection we can provide a PVC sleeve (non –breathable)(at a small charge) which will fit onto the mattress under your mattress cover. This will protect 1/3 of the mattress and it is removable.
- For our Foam mattresses the corovin cover is standard.
- For our Coir & Wool mattresses the deluxe cover is standard.
- For our Fully Sprung mattresses the Deluxe quilted cover is standard.
- For our Pocket Sprung mattresses the Deluxee cover is standard.

When you order you can add on any optional extras you might need like fitted sheets, spare covers and mattress protectors.
