This is our traditional safety mattress, for the Babystyle Oyster (2012) Carrycot & is ideal right from birth for overnight sleeping. Size & shape as our template in factory

Each mattress covering is removable & either wipe-down or machine washable, none of the covers are tumble dry as the zips are plastic and would mis-shape if the dryer was too hot. An optional waterproof barrier/sleeve is available at no extra charge, this helps to protect the mattress core. Please make your selection from the drop down box above (the PVC sleeve is not available if selecting a full or part PVC cover for the mattress)

As with all our mattresses it can be made to any size & any shape at all. Just leave details of the size & shape required (or even the make & model) in the special instructions box above or contact us for advice.

Manufactured with; hypo-allergenic CMHR 25 density foam, natural fibres or springs. For more information regarding mattress types, please click the '?' next to the ‘Mattress Inner Type’ drop down box above.

Each mattress type is breathe-through. Optional ventilation holes are available when selecting a foam mattress type which aids the circulation & air around baby's head and also allows for drainage of any fluids/liquids (sick), particularly where newborn babies are concerned. This mattress is manufactured without the use of any antimony, phosphorous, arsenic, barium, lead or other nasty fire-retardant chemicals.

Mattress covers are easily removed for washing by means of a zip.

This mattress offers firm support and comfort.

Maximum mattress depth is available up to 7cm depth, if a deeper mattress is required please contact us, 4cm is the maximum depth recommended by British Standards, and the usual standard depth for our smaller mattresses.refer to

For advice regarding overnight sleeping in a carrycot, please refer to your product's  manufacturer guide as some only recommend a mattress with a maximum depth of 2.5 cm or 3 cm.
