This popular, natural fibre & spring filled mattress is carefully made from steel coils spings and coconut husk fibres which are bound together with natural latex. The spring unit is layered between coir pads which in turn is layered between CMHR25 foam and polyester wadding. It offers comfort & resilience.

This type of mattress is suitable for newborns and toddlers alike.

The mattress is completely breahe-through, top to bottom. Ideal for "feet to foot" sleeping position as recommended by FSIDS.

The mattress cover is a deluxe quilted polyester which is water resistant. The mattress cover is also luxuriously bound with tape edges for extra durability and is easily removed for washing by means of a zip up the entire side of the mattress.

An optional waterproof sleeve is available at no extra cost. This is positioned underneath the fabric cover in order to protect the mattress fillings at the "potty training" stage.

Review / question:	Hi, I'm interested in buying Coconut & Springs mattress - 100 x 67 x 10 cm but with bamboo cover to avoid PVC cover(I've heard it's not recommended), the question is whether Bamboo or other available covers are waterproof? Can you take this cover off and wash in 60 deg temp? many thanks, Ela
Our comment/answer:	Hi Ela, The total amount it would be for a 100 x 67 x 10, Coconut & springs with a bamboo cover is £93.50. The covers are not fully waterproof, you can get a PVC sleeve that is 1/3 of the mattres and it goes under the cover to stop it soaking through into the mattress and this is no extra charge. The covers are fully breathable, removable and machine washable. Thank you very much for getting in touch with us.

Our comment/answer:	Hi Ela, The covers are fully breathable, removable and machine washable at under 60 degrees. The covers are not fully waterproof, therefore you would need to order a PVC sleeve that is 1/3 of the mattress and is removable, stopping any leakages getting into the mattress, however the PVC sleeve is not breathable, if you want a breathable cover the best option would be to get an aquasolari pad.
