Angora Wool Covered Mattress for Travel Cots - Made to Measure

This is our traditional safety mattress, for travel cots. Ideal from birth. It is covered with our eco-friendly Angora Wool fabric.

Angora wool is a sumptuous fabric, which is very soft to touch, the special wool blend helps prevent itching and irritation on skin, it’s eco-friendly, adds natural warmth to sleep, helps moisture balance and is naturally resistant to dust and dirt. Cover is breathable, removable & machine washable.

The cover easily zips off for washing at 60 degrees, Can be cool tumble dried. Cool iron.

As with all our mattresses it can be made to any size for travel cotsl. Just leave details of the size required in the special instructions box above or contact us for advice. Mattress is available split folding into two and packed into a carry case for ease of use when travelling or for storage.

Manufactured using a non-allergenic CMHR 25 density foam or natural fibres if selected.

Each mattress type is breathe-through. Optional ventilation holes are available when selecting a foam mattress type which aids the circulation & air around baby's head and also allows for drainage of any fluids/liquids (sick), particularly where newborn babies are concerned. This mattress is manufactured without the use of any antimony, phospherous, arsenic, barium, lead or other nasty fire-retardent chemicals.

Mattress covers are easily removed for washing by means of a zip.

This mattress offers firm support and comfort.

Maximum mattress depth is available up to 10cm depth, 10cm is the maximum depth recommended by British Standards.

There is an option to select the depth of mattress you require, 5cm is the most popular for travel cots as this can be ordered in a split folding style which folds up and comes in a zipped case for ease when travelling or for storage. The 7cm and 10cm mattresses are selected when the mattress will be used generally as a permanent fixture where something of a substantial depth is required. These are also available split but are quite bulky and will be made and sent in a self assembly style rather than just split folding.
