Detachable top panel that is made using COOLMAX - a revolutionary new fibre that transports moisture away from the surface of the fabric to prevent your baby's skin from becoming clammy. The open structure of the fabric allows air to circulate freely, reducing the risk of overheating. Koolmax panels can be unzipped, washed and tumble dried, making them easy to care for. By washing them at 60 degrees C, kills any dust mites that could cause asthma.

Review / question:	Should the mattress fit snugly in the crib or should we allow a gap (for bedding) ?
Our comment/answer:	Hi Debra, The mattress should fit snugly in the crib, there should be no more than a 4cm gap, as children are able to get there limbs stuck between the gap. When measuring your crib please take 1cm off each side, and then the mattress will fit more snug. Thank you very much for getting in touch with us.

Review / question:	Can you please tell me about the PVC sleeve, is the PVC attached to the removable cover or is it a seperate sleeve
Our comment/answer:	Hi Jo, The PVC sleeve is available on any mattress apart from on an, all PVC or PVC & mesh cover. The sleeve is one third the length of the mattress and is situated under the removeable mattress covering. It's designed to protect the mattress against any leaks or spills that may get through the cover. It is free of charge & removeable. The PVC sleeve is waterproof but not breathable to it may make a child a little hot, this can be resolved by removing the sleeve from the mattress. However if you want a breathable version then you would need an aquasolari pad. Thank you very much for getting in touch with us.

Review / question:	Is the PVC waterproof sleeve breathable?
Our comment/answer:	Hi Dana, The PVC sleeve is not breathable, it is 1/3 of the mattress and can be removed. However if you got an aquasolari pad this is fully breathable and machine washable, thank you very much for getting in touch with us.
