The mattress core is made from mini bonnel steel springs, surrounded by foam & a polyester wadding.

Mattress cover is Safe-Line Amicor. Safe Line AMICOR - anti allergenic, anti dustmite mattresses create a healthy sleeping environment for your child.

The mattress provides a hygienic, anti-allergenic breathable and moisture resistant surface which is wipe clean and washable, but at the same time allows air to pass through the material, reducing perspiration, giving your baby a more comfortable night’s sleep.

Offers firm support & durability.

An optional waterproof sleeve is available at no extra cost. This is positioned underneath the fabric mattress cover. Just leave details at checkout.

Review / question:	does this come with a removable cover that you can wash and if you chose the waterproof cover that is optional can you remove it at a later date or is is sewn in? Thank you
Our comment/answer:	Hi Lindsay, Yes it does come with a PVC cover it is 1/3 of the mattress and is under your actual cover. However it is removable for you to wash it at 60 degrees, and is there to stop any leakages getting into the mattress.
