This is our traditional safety mattress to fit the Silver Cross Kensington sized 79 x 36cm (available with or without hinge for backrest) & is ideal right from birth for overnight sleeping.
Each covering is removable & either wipe-down or machine washable, none of the covers are tumble dry. If you select to have a foam mattress inner the standard covering will be PVC & mesh, if you select any inner other than foam you will receive a free of charge upgrade to the Deluxe Quilted Polyester.
An optional waterproof barrier/sleeve is available at no extra charge, this helps to protect the mattress core. Please make your selection from the drop down box above (the PVC sleeve is not available if selecting a full or part PVC cover for the mattress)
As with all our mattresses it can be made to any size & any shape at all. Just leave details of the size & shape required (or even the make & model) in the special instructions box above or contact us for advice.
Manufactured with; hypo-allergenic CMHR 25 density foam, natural fibres or springs. For more information regarding mattress types, please click the '?' next to the ‘Mattress Inner Type’ drop down box above.
Each mattress type is breathe-through. Optional ventilation holes are available when selecting a foam mattress type which aids the circulation & air around baby's head and also allows for drainage of any fluids/liquids (sick), particularly where newborn babies are concerned. This mattress is manufactured without the use of any antimony, phosphorous, arsenic, barium, lead or other nasty fire-retardant chemicals.
Mattress covers are easily removed for washing by means of a zip.
This mattress offers firm support and comfort.
Maximum mattress depth is available up to 7cm depth, if a deeper mattress is required please contact us, 4cm is the maximum depth recommended by British Standards, and the usual standard depth for our smaller mattresses.

All of our mattresses are manufactured in the UK and comply with the rigorous requirements of BS 1877 Part 10 for safety and performance and BS 7177 for flammability.
