These mattresses are manufactured to the highest standards and are made with the best materials available.

The mattress core is made from mini bonnel steel springs, surrounded by foam & a polyester wadding.

They are fully breathable and have the "Softer than Ever" micro-climate Coolmax® cover on both sides of the mattress (ivory in colour) which is easily removable for washing.

What makes Cool Plus Micro-Climate

Micro-Climate: Coolmax^®high tech fabrics form a unique moisture management system for improved air circulation which helps to reduce humidity build up, creating a pleasant micro-climate while your baby sleeps, keeping the mattress cool & dry.

Superior Comfort: Patented 6 channel cross-section fibres have been strictly specifically engineered to provide superior breathable comfort, by allowing moisture vapour to move rapidly between the fibres. Extremely soft tactile qualities.

Quality: All Coolmax^®fabrics have been tested to meet the strict DuPont SA quality standards.

These mattresses really do make a difference in keeping baby's sleeping environment very pleasant, dry & cool. Avaialable in a full range for prams, cribs, cradles, cots, cotbeds, travel cots with foam, spring & natural fibre fillings.

The mattress cover is machine washable at 60 degrees. Cool tumble dry & cool iron.

The mattress provides a hygienic, anti-allergenic breathable and moisture resistant surface which is wipe clean and washable, but at the same time allows air to pass through the material, reducing perspiration, giving your baby a more comfortable night’s sleep.

An optional waterproof sleeve is available at no extra cost. This is positioned underneath the fabric mattress cover. Just leave details at checkout.

Review / question:	Hi, I'm specifically looking to get a mattress that is 'soft/squishy' to think of a better term, not hard - I know this says 'softer than ever' but assume that just refers to the cover? Is it also 'squishy'

Review / question:	I am looking for a pocket sprung mattress for a cotbed, that is safe and comfortable, hypoallergenic, anti-allergy/dustmite with washable waterproof cover. Would this mattress be a good choice? what other options are there? Is this is round or square cornered mattress? Many thanks
Our comment/answer:	Hi Natalie, All of our mattresses are made to British standards and fully supportive for your child. The mattress you are after is a good choice, as the fully sprung mattresses last for a long time. For the micro-climate cover this has built in coolmax with all the same properties, it's also softer than the coolmax active and Hypo- allergenic. The cover is breathable, removable and machine washable. As for the cool plus this intelligent cross section design keeps the skin dry and cooler for longer helping your baby to have a comfortable nights sleep without getting hot and bothered like they would for example on a PVC fabric. The cover is breathable removable and machine washable. Also rounded corners are only applicable for foam mattresses, all of our fully sprung mattresses are square in shape.
