Coir mattress size: 139 x 69 x 10 cm (fits all Mamas & Papas CM400 cot beds)

This popular, natural fibre filled mattress is carefully made from coconut husk fibres which are bound together with natural latex. The coir pad is layered between CMHR25 foam and polyester wadding. It offers comfort & resilience & is available in any size or shape.

This type of mattress is suitable for newborns and toddlers alike.

The mattress is completely breahe-through, top to bottom. Ideal for "feet to foot" sleeping position as recommended by FSIDS.

The mattress cover is a deluxe quilted polyester which is water resistant. The mattress cover is also luxuriously bound with tape edges for extra durability and is easily removed for washing by means of a zip up the entire side of the mattress.

An optional waterproof sleeve is available at no extra cost. This is positioned underneath the fabric cover in order to protect the mattress fillings at the "potty training" stage.

Our comment/answer:	Hi Clare, Yes, this mattress would be suitable for a hot climate, you would be best getting either an X-static, microclimate or coolmax cover as it helps disperse heat away from your child keeping them cool whilst sleeping. Best Wishes
