Coir & Pure wool mattress for small junior bed - available in any size up to 200 x 90 x 10 cm.

This popular, natural fibre & pure wool filled mattress is carefully made from a coir pad which is coconut husk fibres which are bound together with natural latex. The coir pad is then generously wrapped in pure new wool which in turn is wrapped in stockinette. It offers comfort & resilience & is available in any size or shape.

This type of mattress is suitable for newborns and toddlers alike.

The mattress is completely breahe-through, top to bottom. Ideal for "feet to foot" sleeping position as recommended by FSIDS.

The mattress cover is a deluxe quilted polyester which is water resistant. The mattress cover is also luxuriously bound with tape edges for extra durability and is easily removed for washing by means of a zip up the entire side of the mattress.

An optional waterproof sleeve is available at no extra cost. This is positioned underneath the fabric cover in order to protect the mattress fillings at the "potty training" stage.

Review / question:	I would like to order a coir junior mattress. I am a bit confused.
Our comment/answer:	Hi Harriet, For the coir and wool mattress this is a coconut husk pad surrounded by pure new wool wadding. The coconut has a complex layered design which means it has fantastic breathability and also the latex used to bond the coir fibres is naturally hypo-allergenic. The wool is a very soft, natural and snuggly alternative to polyester wadding. This inner contains no arsenic, phosphorus or antimony. Thank you very much for getting in touch with us.
