This is what a "baby's mattress" always looked like from 1950s to 1970's

Kathy from Baby Mattresses Online, decided to bring the vintage and traditional look of a baby mattress up to date for today's parents & grandparents (we all suspect that the grandparents are paying for the baby gear by the way - if you are lucky!)

This mattress INCLUDES a matching fitted & a flat sheet in the matching STARRY STARRY NIGHT fabric which will both be made to perfectly fit your baby's new mattress. No more baggy ends, sloppy elastic......these are tailored sheets to match your baby's mattress.

I'm sure that many of us feel a bit of an oochy coochy feel when we see a baby fast asleep on proper baby design bedding rather than modern pop art, spots or trendy animal print design - all of which are great by the way...........

STARRY STARRY NIGHT - similar to the vintage PVC prints in the 70's & 80's

The set includes the bespoke made mattress of your choice and a matching set of "tailored to fit" flat and fitted sheets.

Custom size mattress for moses or wicker basket, carrycots, prams & cribs.

Up to a maximum size of 90 x 40 cm. Please contact us for larger sizes.

In the foam version of the mattress there is a choice of mattress depth. 2.5 cm., 3 cm., 4cm., 5 cm.. or 7 cm.

Please note most prams, moses baskets and carrycots should not have a mattress any deeper than 4cm. For very deep cribs and cradles, 7 cm. depth is fine.

This mattress is covered in our lovely quilted polycotton "Starry Starry Night" fabric. The cover has bound edges and easily zips off for washing.

You may choose from foam or natural mattress fillings and we now have a brand new micro pocket spring filling - a new concept for baby mattresses. 

Spare covers are also available.
